And if you’re a die hard beach lover, still no worries because the south coast’s off-season is Sri Lanka’s east coast’s season. From April to October the beaches from Arugam Bay all the way up to Trincomalee attract thousands of surfers. The white sandy beaches of the east are breathtakingly picturesque and are well-known worldwide for having some of the best surfing points.
