Also Known as the Sri Lanka White Eye, it is a residential breeder from the mid to high mountainous regions usually at 4000 ft above sea level forming large flocks in forests and wooded areas. The bird can be observed in the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, Horton Plains National Park and the Riverstone area.
