DAY 1 - Kandy
Namaste and welcome to Sri Lanka. Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be received by our representative and transfer to Kandy which is a 3 ½ hours drive approximately. Kandy, the heart of hill country of Sri Lanka is the most venerated city of Sri Lanka where Lord Buddha’s Tooth Relic now calls home at Kandy's Royal Palace.
Upon check-in at the hotel in Kandy, you may opt to either chill out by the pool or do some sightseeing such as Peradeniya Botanical Garden and Temple of Tooth Relic (Specially during a sermon). Taking a leisurely walk along the Kandy Lake bunt you would be able to explore the locale and also good for people watching.

DAY 2 & 3 - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, take a very scenic drive from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, the capitol of Tea country. You may visit a Tea estate and a factory on the way if you are keen to learn about Tea plucking and producing process. Further to Nuwara Eliya, you find Bhaktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. According to the legend, this is where Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungles above and behind the temple. Bhaktha Hanuman Temple is an important place in Ramayanaya. The temple's garden opens up to stunning view of the Kothmale valley.
Latter part of the day is recommended to spend in leisure enjoying the views of Nuwara Eliya sipping a fine cup of Ceylon Tea.
On day two in Nuwara Eliya, take a nature trail in Horton Plains National Park to explore a very important eco system in Sri Lanka. Horton Plains has been a hinting ground during the British colonial era and it offers you mother nature's beautiful sceneries. You may trek to World’s end point and Baker’s waterfall for breath taking beauty. It is recommended that you enter the park early as possible (6 AM) for best sceneries and views.
On your way back from Horton Palins, visit Asoka Vatika, an important place in Ramayanana. It says Sri Lankan demon King Ravana after abducting Sita, kept her hidden in this area and area was offered to Sita as a pleasure garden, Hakgala Gardens mentioned in the Ramayana as Ashok Vatika. The area was named as "Sita Eliya" and "Sita Amman Temple" was built on the site. Asoka Vatika, a not to miss place during your Ramayana Tour of Sri Lanka.
Then visit Seetha Amman Temple of Nuwara Eliya, the place believed to be to be the exact place where Sita was held captive by the demon-king Ravana in the Lanka of the epic, Ramayana. Myth has it that Sita, the wife of King Rama, was imprisoned in the Ashoka forests of the region. The temple trustees believe that this is no myth and that Sita's imprisonment at this spot is a historical fact. Any Indian, must visit Sita Amman Temple during their tour of Sri Lanka.
After all the above exploration and visits, you may opt to relax at the hotel or explore Nuwara Eliya town. Or may even do some leisure walks along the banks of Lake Gregory. At Lake Gregory, you may also take a boat tour in the lake.

DAY 4 & 5 - Bentota
After breakfast, transfer to Bentota which is 4 hours away. You could take part in a boat trip in Bentota river, enjoy various water sports such as jet skiing, banana boat rides and water drag boats on your own.

DAY 6 - Colombo
Drive from Bentota to Colombo is just under 2 hours in the express way. We recommend that you visit renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa's Lunu Ganga garden if you have a knack or interest in architecture.
In Colombo, after a brief city drive visit most important land marks, just chill out in the hotel at Taj's premiere property in Colombo. Going shopping is also an option. When the night falls, it is your choice to enjoy the nightlife of Colombo by visiting a night club or even a Casino. Live like your last day, yes, it is the last night of your tour in Sri Lanka.
DAY 8 - Departure
You will be transferred to Colombo International Airport for the flight back home.
