On your arrival, our representative will receive you at the arrival lounge of Colombo International Airport and transfer you to Galle, southern capitol of Sri Lanka where history, people and beach is waiting for you.
You will be staying two nights in Galle in a small boutique hotel by the beach closer to the town and historical Galle Fort. After some relaxing time at the hotel, you could explore the markets, historical Dutch Fort and spend some relaxing time by Unawatuna Beach.
Day two morning, our cycling guide from the village will pick you for a countryside cycling trip interior of Galle to explore the country side of Galle. South of Sri Lanka, around Galle offers many opportunities to the cyclist to experience the real life of Sri Lankans. Being the best part of the island to grove cinnamon, our cycle trails takes you through the cinnamon plantations. Our experience cycle guides will explain you about the process of cinnamon peeling. Tea gardens and the natural Rubber trees are plenty on the cycle trail. Day today life of the people, traditional and cultural aspects of the villagers can be experienced while cycling.
Your next destination will be Ella, one of the most popular hill side town in the central hills of Sri Lanka where you will be staying three nights in a small independent hotel with jaw dropping views of Ella gap. Leave Galle in midday and reach Udawalawe on your way to Ella in time for the afternoon safari in Udawalawe National Park to see Elephants in the wild. Udawalawe NP is one of the best places to see Asian Elephants in Sri Lanka, in large herds.
During your stay in Ella, when not lounging by the pool with a good book, you may venture out to explore the myriad of attractions that Ella has to offer. To name a few, 9 Arch Bridge built by British rulers during colonial time, natural wonders such as Little Adam's Peak and Ella Rock are the highlights to experience when in Ella. Take the scenic and popular train journey from Ella to Kandy, for one-night stay. You will be staying in a small family owned guest house near Kandy town and we suggest that you take an evening stroll in Kandy town followed by a chilled beer or two in roadside bar.
Drive down to Negombo for the last night in Sri Lanka before heading to Maldives. Before leaving Kandy, you could take a leisurely walk in Peradeniya Botanical Garden which is a highlight in Kandy. Have a relaxing afternoon in Negombo staying in a small guest house near Negombo beach.
On day 8 you will be flown to Male, the capitol of Maldives, just 1-hour flight from Colombo International Airport. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to a fine 4-star resort, just 15 minutes ferry ride from the airport. The resort is well equipped with diving, snorkeling and other water activities and sports activities such as Tennis to keep you fit and engaged. When not reading your favourite book under a shade of palm tree, explore the house reef with crystal clear water for colourfull marine life.
